【What is Santoku knife?】
The santoku (三徳) means three virtues referring to the wide variety of ingredients that the knife can handle. It can be used for multiple purposes like cutting Meat, Fish, Vegetable/ or slicing, chopping, dicing. Its blade is typically between 13 and 20 cm (5 and 8 in) long, and has a flat edge and a sheepsfoot blade that curves down an angle approaching 60 degrees at the point.
Cobalt stainless is a well balanced steel in terms of Sharpness, rust resistance and retention. This material is well suited for kitchen knives.
【What is Indigo dye Knife ?】
What makes different is that the handle is indigo dyed.
Indigo dye has odor eliminating and antibacterial effects. By combining sakai blade and indigo dyed handle, We can create an special chef's knife.
