Regarding handling of knives
- Do not use in the dishwasher or dryer.
- Do not use for anything other than cooking. Please handle with care as it is a blade.
- Please use it in a stable condition.
- Do not leave it in water or wet.
- To prevent rust, do not leave the sword in the sheath for long periods of time.
- Knives will become dull with frequent use, so please resharpen them as needed.
- Do not twist the knife from side to side. Do not cut hard foods such as bones, frozen foods, or pumpkins.
- Please avoid subjecting the knife to impact as this may cause the blade to break, chip or crack.
- Do not apply pressure to the back of the blade with your fingers or palm as this may injure your hand.
- Do not place near fire.
- If the handle is made of wood, it may show signs of wear and discoloration with frequent use.
- Washing with a metal scrubbing brush or scouring powder may damage the blade.
- Please do not allow children to use this product alone.
How to care for steel knives
- Iron (steel) knives may rust.
- After use, wash thoroughly with a mild detergent and rinse with warm water.
- If you leave it wet, it will rust, so after washing, be sure to wipe it thoroughly with a cloth to ensure that no moisture remains.
- Apply non-drying vegetable oil such as olive oil or camellia oil to the entire blade.
